Sabal minor population in Oklahoma on YouTube

Post by TerdalFarm »

The "Oklahoma Gardening" TV show on public TV posts highlights on YouTube.
This clip aired last week. It features that dwarf palmetto population down in McCurtain County.

I hope to go see these palms myself someday. --Erik

About four hours on two-lane roads. Very remote. Up here we're all scared as McCurtain Co. has a reputation as the area where Meth. is cooked. --Erik

Jeez sounds like wondering around in the woods might not be as safe as it should be :(

I'd take the S&W out with me if I was palm hunting in those types of areas.

I doubt I'd be any safer for that. I figure to make the trip in lousy weather some time and figure I'd be the only one dumb enough to walk around in the woods in the rain. --Erik
