From now on out expect serious growth man. My first one was just a bit bigger when I first planted it, Now on it's 5th summer it's just about 10 feet. It's nutty how much it has grown since my last post. 12 foot walls this winter:shock: , and next year it will be semi unprotected I'm thinking.
Four leaves at a time when there at the right stage Slow down Buddy!!! That's what I keep telling it.
Thanks for the encouraging comments guys. Question for you. Can you successfully move well-established trachys? Reason I ask is, my wife wants to eventually move to a bigger house in 2 to 3 years (we live in side by side condo now). I'm hoping I can take my palms with me when I move.

Depending on the time of year maybe wouldn't hurt to
pot them up then plant,so the roots can adjust.
I think with your excellent work protecting you will avoid
the main issue which would be avoiding decline.
