So here is the black tips. I really have no idea what would cause this. Anyone??

Looks much better then I was thinking. The tips just get like that when they are trying to get rid of extra fertilizer. It looks great though, very healthy palm. If you plant it in the ground next year it should really start to put out good growth after a year or so. Plus with the growth you'll get in the house you should be in really good shape.

Bill,
Thanks a lot for clearing that up about the black tips, I do add a lot of fertilizer. I am looking forward to putting it in the house this year i want it to grow through out the winter. I don't think I will plant it in the ground anytime soon I just re potted it into that one you see in the picture, so there is plenty of room for the roots to grow.

I'm really happy to hear that it looks really heathly, I try and do my best to keep it as heathly as possible. I just need to take it easy with the fertilizer... :roll: :lol:
