I have only had moderate success growing saw palmetto. I planted two last winter and lost one and planted one this spring and it finally is getting new growth. These palms for some reason do not do as well as the other species I have planted. I planted 4 needle palms this spring and they are doing well. My Pindo , Robusta, Chinese Fan, and Windmills are all doing well.
Does anybody have any advice for the Saw Palmetto?
