question for BC members

Post by Arctic Palm »

hello,

my question is this...what is the largest sized trachy (trunk hight) that is sold on the west coast? Around here the tallest is about 2 or 3 feet of trunk. I figure if they are a little more common on the west coast then maybe they come a little bigger...

I can get 10'ft trunked with a total height of 16' ft T. fortunei from nurseries in Vancouver. That size of palm is definitely not cheap.

Here are some nurseries in the Vancouver area with larger T. fortunei. Cedar rim nursery Langley, Art`s nursery Surrey, Sunnyside nursery Tsawwassen.

Those large ones can easily be priced at $2,500 each. There is a price for instant success.
