Yes, The Pumila started coning last Summer, just weeks after potting up after I got it from Mr. Chumley. It stalled during the Winter, but has started growing again with the humidity and warmer temps.
Here it is, kinda hard to see I know, especially the one with no leaf, but it is there and it is growing.
If you don't want to, I can give them to Mr. Chumley. I just would HATE to not use them.

Also wanted to proudly announce a couple new flushes...
Here is a Zamia (cardboard) seedling that Steve gave me (thanks again)!

Tait flush. The Tait has a caudex of about 4". It actually has at least two leafs in this flush, but you can only see the one.

Now here is the ONLY thing that I disagree with my great friend Mr. Chumley. After speaking with him many many times, he told me EVERY time, that his Rumphii were not really doing good. He reluctantly gave me one as he didn't think it would do good. In the one year I have had this tree, this is the THIRD flush it has put out. One of my GREATEST growers, the Rumphii. Thanks again Mr. Chumley.

They all look great. Barb I will post some pics when I get my new PC in. I'm using my laptop which doesn't have any of my image editing software. I over clocked my main system a little too much & fried the MB / processor... Hope the new system is here this week.

Strange weather for everybody this year.
Right now it's sunny, 4*C, 39*F, and SNOWING...jeez!

I spend half my day taking plants out of the cold building and putting them back in a couple of hours later

We should be wearing shorts already...instead I'm looking for longjohns.

All, I have a question.
3 of my Revolutas started flushing. That was with the 70's & 80's in the greenhouse. They all started fast n furious with the flush. However, in the last 3-4 days, temps have really dropped and it has been 40's & 50's in the Greenhouse. Will thishurt the new flushes?

The drastic decrease in temperature could very well affect the developing leaves -- even to the point of stunting. If possible, you might consider bringing the plants that are flushing inside the house or putting some kind of temporary heater in the GH. If neither of these options is possible, then one might think that Cycas revoluta would be one of the least likely species to exhibit this type of problem since it is relatively cold tolerant to begin with. Good luck either way!

Great thanks. I went ahead and put the heater back in the GH just to be safe.

Here they are on 4/10/08
This one may need the old leafs cut off come time to put out in the yard.

This one has all the leafs from last two flushes. This one is REALLY healthy!

This one had all the leafs from last year dry up and brown. I thought it was dying. So I repotted and then...

I know this gets old, but I can not tell you enough how much good ole fashion cow manure does for these. Before with chemical ferts, I would still get one flush a year. With Natural cow manure, I get two to three a year.

Lemme know Wes in about a month (or less) if it worked. These three were kept all Winter in a cold cold garage in a wodden box with light on them constantly, but again, it was very cold. I brought them in and watered them with some manure and in month I had this.
When I put it on, I also water the heck out of it and use the hose to stir it in. I use the hose to push in the manure to mix it all together. One thing, I would NOT do it it inside or water them inside after you do it as there is visibly yellow "water" that comes out the bottom of the pot

But make sure you keep me/us updated!

How old is your Sago? Do you have a photo of the entire plant?
