Hybrid T. fortunei - wagnerianus (Victoria, BC)

Post by Islander »

:!: This is an amazing palm. I've seen one in Vancouver but this one in Victoria is older and it is quite the palm. This palm seems to be very happy on Vancouver Island. I wonder if admin will let me post tons of images... I promise to post Vancouver palms. My HD needs cleaning up.

Enjoy 8) I got to see it in person. What a beauty :!:

Islander AKA Denis ... you should really have more info in your profile. Anonymous posting is discouraged here. :?

I don't promote a business like you do. If "Leapfrog" in Victoria remains anonymous on various forums then I can. But admin would have a right to know if it did matter. You use whatever name you like, it's your life. Why should mine matter to you? That is so strange instead of a "welcome".

Well, hello and happy 2008.
There should be more palms at English Bay.

Denis ... First off, I don't promote my business. I don't solicite, run ads or have a web-site here or anywhere. Secondly, any "business" is strictly by word of mouth nearly exclusively outside of this, or any message board forum.
As far as your user name is concerned, personally I don't care. You seem to have arrived here with quite a strong presence and I'm sure others might recall your demeanor on the PNW forum a few years ago. I'm sure they'll recognize your composition, writing style and arrangement as uniquely Denis. So now with that out in the open, welcome Denis. I hope all runs smoothly here.

Cheers, Barrie.

Denis the Menace

Post by PALMETTOMAN »

Well if it isn't Denis the Menace aka Islander??

Word of warning to the board members...this guy goes out of his way to insult people and wish nothing but bad fortune on them...

Trust me folks...he especially takes exception to folks who live in the northeast...(where he originally comes from)..

Ahh. I remember from the other board that I used to go to.

I hope that we and Denis can all get along.

Welcome Denis.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Allen, the key words here ... "used to".
I "used to" as well but bailed because of the crap.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
