Mine seem to grow best with highs in the 70s to low 80s we never got that this year it went from 40s 50s to 90 it snowed may 31st here. Worst spring of my life.

It really slowed the trachys recovery this spring and now its too hot to grow we will see how it looks come october i guess, i may have to protect it this year.

Well it's not hot everywhere we had the coldest and wettest spring ever recorded here in slc. We have only hit the 80's 3 or 4 times all year. Most miserable start to a year I have ever seen here.

Are you in SLC? If I recall correctly from other posters in that area it is generally 6b or 7a depending on elevation and proximity to the lake.
