I NEED A MAJESTY PALM EXPERT, OR ANYONE!!! HELP
Ok, I know these things suck!! But I have had this one for 2 months now and up until a few weeks ago it looked great. I mist it everyday, it sits in partial light to shaded light, I water everyday, for about a week it sat in full sun until I read they like shaded light, so...what am I doing wrong???

Yes..I agree with Laaz...I made the fatal error of bringing mine in the basement this past fall/winter after a great 8 months outside..(yes..outside)...The dryness and lack of humidity made then look like hell...Recovering now...(outside)...
Advice.put them outside and in semi shade and water them lots..epsoms or jobe spikes helps green them up..
Sorry bout he photo being upsidedown...

Palmettoman,
I just clicked on your link. I'm very impressed with your plants and yard layout. You have quite the collection of palms and other exotics. I will have to show my wife this. If I can make our home look as nice as yours she won't get upset everytime I buy a plant.

Philmusa,
I appreciate your comments...
We kinda kissed the backyard grass goodbye... and made some beds..
The pea gravel helps retain the warmth...and..gets rid of the pests...
Any luck with getting a Musa rojo sumatrana?
How'd your needle make out?

majesty palms
Hey Arctic Palm...
Yeah..I agree with Phil..spider mites will do them in as well as lack of humidity..
They should reboud if you take care of em...
Its not to cold to toss them out and spray them with some Shultz spider mite killer..Oh yeah..pick up some Jobes garden spikes (for palms).
They will help green them up..or Epsom salts...water them mixed with the Epsoms..

Jobe's is available at Walmart in the tropical fert. section..they have some for palms and ferns...and reg. houseplants...
Since putting my Majesty's out..they've greened up nice..

epsoms/jobes
Well..I'm not an expert on the epsoms but I put a couple of spoonfuls in the watering can and just water..!..so far..I guess so good..The Jobes wont affect the epsoms visa/versa..
Keep your Majesty's out of the wind for now..give them morning/late afternoon sun...
The coolness really hasn't bothered them..and moderately aaclimatized.
If its down below 5C you can pop them inside..but honestly..I've had mine for 7 years or so...They've withstood 0C and no problems outside from April to November.

Epsom salts
Arctic palm you need to add 1 table spoon to 1 gal water. I add the epsom to a large measuring cup with warm water so it disolves easier then add to your watering jug. Hope this helps.
