That desert is mesmerizing, something new to see at every turn.
Not much room for error on some of those trails.

Is that fire damage on some of the cactus?
Or more lightning damage...strange if it's here and there all over the place.
And was that a small dead trunked yucca behind one of the cactus?

The big tree your bike is under is an Iron wood tree. They are a favorite of mine. Very pretty when in bloom.

Not going back until it warms up...

No Yucca,that is the left overs of an old Saquaro...

No damage from fire or lightning...just the relenrless beating of the sun
and maybe in the case of the holey Saquaro a gun or two.
