I wondered about that myself, they said something like it wouldn't hurt the birds or second hand animals eating the dead voles? Must of been ok? :?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Mouse traps will work, Tim.
Yummy peanut butter...two for you, one for the vole trap.

Just like with beer and wasps. :drunken:

my voles are too smart...............I've had 6 mouse traps outside since June and never caught one yet. I did loose one trap................never found it................that must have been a bigger critter.

Killed my first vole today with a snap mouse trap. Bated it with chunky peanut butter, the hole was surrounded by 3 traps and they all went off, it got caught in one. I set up another trap today so hopefully ill catch another one. Theres going to be a bloody vole massacre, lol. It sounds horrible but it's all out war.

Did you put a bucket over it? thats what i did 3 traps surrounding the hole then i put a bucket over it keeps the squirrels away from it also its like a death trap they come out and have no place to go.

Time to replenish the bait

Bryce, glad it's working for you.
Sounds like you've got some work ahead.

Yeah I have killed 2 so far I need to move my traps around I guess. I have 3 areas that have traps. I haven't seen any new holes yet but I think there are more than just 2.
