I finally managed to take some pics of this thing in some good light. You can see it. Its just over 4 feet tall. The russian olive beside it is an inch or 2 under six feet for size reference.

THe neightbors were more then excited to find out I was growing bamboo. And were even more excited when I told them it may creep in their yards (one daughter and mom in one house, the othe daughter and husband in the other.) The mom has only been in canada for 5 years, from china, so im guessing the bamboo would be a little taste of home for her

Unlikely if Jesse should be worrying about the bamboo invasion. Mine has been growing for at least 20 years in my my garden but never been in rush to expanding.TimMAz6 wrote:nice lily collection.
