So, anyone have big plans for our major holiday? Where we exalt Psalm 92:12 ("The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree....")?
I'm going to be a heretic and go to an orchid show.

We ought to commercialize Palm Sunday like other holidays. I'm thinking of the Alux (sort of a Maya leprechaun) leaving presents under the palm tree? (Wikipedia on Aluxob if you are really bored: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alux).
The same places that sell Christmas Trees in December would sell Palm trees in March!
Seriously, though, palm Sunday is a conservation problem as leaves of palms like Chameadorea are poached for church services.
