Does anybody have experience with trachycarpus latisectus specifically hardiness and growth?

I would think it would be hardy to zone 7b at very best. There are a lot of claims that it's hardier, since it comes from the same general area as musa sikkimensis, but I think you would be better off with a regular t. fortunei, wagnerianus, takil, etc. I'm sure our resident trachycarpus experts can shed some more light on this palm :lol:

The least hardy of the trachys along with Martianus.

Damage can begin with temps in the low 20s
