Anybody growing Opuntia engelmannii linguiformis? And how hardy is it?

zone 8?

Daves garden says its zone 8. Not a very hardy. Cant even be grown in northern tennesee without protection. Remember that some sites say different zones. Still is a very great cactus :)

Oh well, i thought it would look cool in my yard. :) Maybe i should just grow it in a pot.
