After a 3 day soak, first germination 2 weeks later (held between 85*F - 95*F)

Steve, I am getting a bunch of these from that kind lady in Florida that has been giving me seeds from her yard. I tell you what, these seeds are as fresh as they come as they are picked, then pushed into an envelope and sent.
I have had TREMENDOUS luck with her seeds. She is so great!
I'll keep you uodated on mine too. But do you know much about these??? I mean are they like sabal Minor and love wet feet? Are they cold hardy? Just not a lot of knowledge about this tree.

Wes,
The only observation I found showed no damage at 26*F, how cold has your friends yard been?
First time with these, probably the same requirements as S.palmetto.

I've had good luck with Sabals over the Winter, mostly a 95% germination rate. The only ones left , ( besides the S.maritima just received), are the S.minor"Emerald Isle Giant", these are still germinating, just taking their time :D

BTW - Don't forget I still have that Royal here for you.

Yea, I know. I just have not had time to come to Salina lately. There for awhile I was going every other day. I KNOW I wont make it til at least mid week next week at the earliest.
