One of the taller Fortunei that is covered...no heat.

<a href="http://s297.photobucket.com/user/orbea6 ... w.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm22 ... hquruw.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSCF0515_zpspthquruw.jpg"/></a>

I had to bust all the "snow" off, every time
I walked past the cacti cover it was sagging lower...
you wouldn't think this amount of snow would be that
heavy but its mostly freezing rain, sleet and snow.

It will take a pretty good warm up in the next week or so
and above avg temps in Feb for these 2 larger "Fortunei" to have any a chance...

are you going to protect the larger trachys? Maybe you could get by with just wrapping them in Christmas lights and putting rose cone over the spear and fronds.

I probably will just let them go...just don't have the resources
and if I move in the next year I will not be taking them so,it doesn't
make a lot of sense to fret over them...
