Yippeee...got a Dioon edule
Bought a dioon edule at Jurassic Plants.
Here's my new baby.
The bluish leaves are gorgeous!
One quick question: Is it planted too deep?
Where the two leaves attach to the roots...should a bit be above ground?

That's a nice one Barb! Dioon's have some real nice coloring.
As Wes said, try to keep the top of the Caudex above the soil, You will notice it will start to pull itself up over time too

Planting Depths,
Barb - Yours looks fine under your care, but here's a couple photos just for reference.
This one from seed has not been disturbed and should show the natural caudex height.
Then again, sometimes they do what they want, This "Palma Sola" variant keeps pulling itself up...lol
