Hey buddy, I got to thinking, I know scary huh, but I had some luck with my Robusta wintering w/ the "Iowa Robusta" method. It DID eventualy die, but only because of the moisture in the spear. The leaves and everything made it fine thru the cold.
But I got to thinking, I wonder if I could do the same, just do it with a King Sego. There is not a chance of the spear pull or the moisture. Also, I think the King is hardier than the Robusta. I seen some folks using a King as an annual in southern Oklahoma. So my question to you, do you think it would work for us?
