Believe it or not....

Post by Kansas »

I finished the Greenhouse on Sunday. Yesterday night I put all my stuff in except my two Pride-N-Joys the big PDP & Yucca Trechy which I am leaving until I know for sure no frost is forecasted.
I just checked the stuff in the greenhouse and believe it or not....
One Robusta seedling's new leaf grew 2"
One Filifera leaf grew 1"
All the "X-Mas" palms (6-7) grew their newest leafs 1"
Fortunei seedling's new leaf grew 1"
Fortunei 2' trunk's 3 new leafs all grew at least 2"
Copernicia Alba seedling grew 1"
all 5 Tait/Guiz Hybrid Cycad seeds new emerging flushs grew 1/2"
Some others I am sure I missing thou.
So the Greenhouse is proving to be a good investment so far.

That will put a smile on any body's face, see your plants start to take off like that!
Remember you might have to water more often and watch that they don't get burnt from too much sunshine!
Enjoy!

Ahh, yes, I forgot about the water needs THANKS!!
I thought abou the sunburn thing, however, I did leave the white protective film on the side panels on the roof and also the South side wall panels. Thats keeps the Sunlight exposure to a "filtered light" state.
I still would love to come take advantage of your offer, just have not had the job need to travel to Wichita. Hope it comes soon.
