I am new so I am tryin this out. Anyway, I just happen to be out the other day buying a T. Fortunei and this greenhouse had a bunch of really big triangle palms. They don't advertize them on thier website but they are there. I think it was $200.00 and it was at least 8 feet.

Maybe this will help.

Super trachy...how old is it?
Nice to see that your son already loves plants.

Without losing your anonymity...(trying to figure out) "Arctic Palm" and "Southern Canada"
Can you narrow it down...just a bit please?

HAHAHa,

A while back I was talking to some people in FLorida about growing palms here...and they asked how I could grow palms in the arctic. So I liked that handle. I live in Southern Ontario, near lake erie. I just thought it was typical of Floridians.
I am just jealous of them!!!!

Man, aren't we all jealous of Floridians?
On second thought...who wants to mow a lawn for 12 months?

Lucky1,

I think I could handle mowing a lawn rather then shoveling tons of snow.
My trachy is about 3 or 4, I was told. I really like it. I have tried to get a bigger one but no one but with no luck...hard to come by larger ones. Botanix has some larger ones so I may have to go there again.

Hey Arctic Palm,
There's a guy on this site (somewhere) named Ryan from Ontario who's got great palms at great prices.
I can't remember which thread included his website.

We were babbling and probably off topic. I can't find it.

Lucky1

I know Ryan. I have already bought plants form him. Very nice fellow. Really seems to know what he is doing. Its corollatropicals.ca.
I am waiting for some of his royal palms. I love slender single trunk palms. Cuban, king, christmas, ones like that.
Thanks.

Oh, of course it was corollatropicals! You think I'd remember the beer part, ha. :?
Thanks for the reminder.
I'm sure Ryan will do well with his site.

They have small ones at a local Rona for $6.99. A great deal.
