Sure am, just outside Yarmouth NS (USDA zone 7a/6b)
Over twenty species, all cold hardy, all currently young
A few large w.filifera in pots, 7 years old from seed.
Two species in ground...Sabal Louisiana and Rhapidophyllum hystrix...their first winter, wish me luck :)

I haven't posted in a long time.
My Oklahoma cold-hardy palm, I drove to Oregon with a decade ago, and added some new ones at 45oN. No protection at all. Doing well, esp. the Trachy "waggies." I haven't been since August 2021 so rely on my brother for pictures.

My SW Florida collection is growing slowly. The Bizzie and foxtail that had to live in pots in Oklahoma are in the ground now and appreciate it.

The reason I'm logging in is for...cold protection. My yellow Malayan coconut doesn't like the cold so I ordered pipe heating tape. They don't sell it locally. :-)

I'll post a photo for old-times sake. -Erik

Here is a post I put up on a new (to me) FB group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1525942 ... 329572788/

The first couple of photos might look familiar from a decade ago on this forum. The last two are my protection of my coconut tree in anticioation of near freezing weather down here in SW Florida this weekend.
