Soil temps temps breaking 50F @ 4".

Cactus garden was unheated(it was covered)&
saw 7F twice over the winter,amazing the Trichocereus
in the center made it through.

Loving that princep! I bet your palms are loving this spring weather right now. I just hope it holds out, and we only have light frost from here on out. I cant wait to start planting.

Yeah...isn't that funny,you would
not even notice if it wasn't for the
obvious color diff when compared
to an actual pup on the other side.

Jim your palms and desert garden are looking great. Much better than your last post showing some not so good results of the winter. I`ll try another Washy planted after seeing how they have recovered for you. Ant tips?

Outside...if you can find something like
a thermocube there(turns on heat/power @35F/on,turns power off
@45F)...these make it really easy to overwinter if you need supplemental
heat as I do here,the only other thing is to watch it doesn't overheat but
even that is tough with a Washy,I saw the temp 117F inside the enclosure once!
