I had to bust all the "snow" off,every time
I walked past the cacti cover it was sagging lower...
you wouldn't think this amount of snow would be that
heavy but its mostly freezing rain,sleet and snow.

It will take a pretty good warm up in the next week or so
and above avg temps in Feb for these 2 larger "Fortunei" to have any a chance...

are you going to protect the larger trachys? Maybe you could get by with just wrapping them in Christmas lights and putting rose cone over the spear and fronds.

I probably will just let them go...just don't have the resources
and if I move in the next year I will not be taking them so,it doesn't
make a lot of sense to fret over them...

Hate to see all that hard work go to waste. What has your lowest temp been this year?
