This actually makes a good testament to how hardy Cocos can be, This one has been de-husked, the shell has been scored and it has sat in the refrigerated section!

Rare find

Good one. That is very rare to find a husked and shrink wrapped coconut sprouted. I use to bring back sprouted ones from Hawaii in the past that were fully in tack. I hope that does well for you. Now I'm going to be checking all the cocnuts in our grocery store. Cheers, Joe

Still showing signs of life, Has grown out about 1" forming the "button" and some root growth seems to be starting from it 8)
