Update from the great white north(Niagara-on-the-Lake Ont.)

Like everywhere else on the east cost we suffered from a horrible winter. In fact for our area it was the worst winter in 80 years. I lost 30% of my hardy tropical, mostly palms without much protection. Pictures are from mid July and sorry for the poor quality pics.
Southern mags in May:


From 3 weeks ago:


Bananas killed to the ground

They were slow to bounce back and they are half the height that they should be by now

From last year

Everything else did ok:
One of my little windmills







Mix of little palms. European fan and waggy











My little needle pulled through without protection but it did have spear pull

Nothing can stop JimNiagara's bamboo that he gave me. Should grow this stuff in the arctic



All me perennials are doing very well this year
