I got some Belfast sinks on Tuesday to use as arid planters for the front garden to accompany the arid bed. First job was drilling extra holes in the bottom for drainage. I have used a one third mix of sharp sand, grit and compost, with a drainage layer of grit on the bottom. I purchased three different varieties of lampranthus and have used one in each along with some new cacti and other bits and pieces I have. Quite happy with them. :D
