7.65" of rain this month already-that is more-or will be- than(2012/7.80..2013/5.16")the
total rainfall(not combined) of the last 2 summers-what a difference.

Some pics from June 23-

I did end up t-cutting The Eriospatha...just tired of watching the brown spear sulk.

Washy working on leaf 8 I believe, looks like they are downsizing now too after some big floppy umbrellas.
Underneath is a Calla lily that returns every summer.

There are a lot of different plants in this pic-I counted 13...

The Trichocereus has grown over 12" in its first full year in the ground...may need a chimney on the cactus house for it.

<a href="http://s297.photobucket.com/user/orbea6 ... 9.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm22 ... 407529.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 100_9652_zpsf2407529.jpg"/></a>

I did go ahead and trim the Gloriosa.

Man oh man, everything looks lush, Jim.

Hard to imagine what 2 summers worth of rain would be like...cheap water bills anyway.

8 leaves on the Washy...that's gotta be a record for end of June.
Congrats!

No "Hope" outside..I tried one year,it looked slightly mushy but was still alive-
I think breaking it out of its winter dormancy was the challenge with that one.
This is a pup off the one I tried.

yea Barb.

I think I used the hose once last month....
The Washy is for sure off to a good start.
Even the Fortunei I hacked apart has grown back 5-6 leaves...
and they are pretty good sized!

Might be awhile before I post photos of entire yard. Over half of the gardens have been rearranged. Back yard looks awful, had major septic tank problems.
