Well, whoever has been following me these past few months know that I was put in charge of landscaping for the new building we are moving into at work. I've been working out there about 8 hours a week since March... first it was clear cutting a bunch of trees, shrubs, etc. Then I had to move a bunch of landscaping rocks that I didn't like their placement. Dug a pond, and finally planted a ton of stuff ... topped off with 20 yards of mulch.

Tonight I placed 3000 lbs of flagstone around the pond and topped it off with some pond mix. It's finally done in my eyes.

First, let's start with a Google map street view showing a "before" shot.

After shot.

Now for some pictures of the pond and of the 3 large needle palms I planted. You can also see the nice large trachy I planted on the island. I am going to wait until July to post a big update to let things fill in a little more.

Nice...you may want to stake the Ensete though...not very sturdy in open areas.

Tim, you (and your company) should win a community Beautification Award.
Truly beautiful.

so is it also your job to dig and box everything each winter too? They're in trouble if you leave for another job!
