Tesan and princeps look so fine, good job protecting.

Gloriosa will look great with 3 heads on a trunk.
:D

Not a bud emerging on the Sequoia? damn.

Love to see the desert garden ... man, has it matured beautifully over the years.

Thanks for great photos!
Enjoy your coming heatwave.

Sequoia is really dead? I didn't believe it. If true, so sorry.

Cacti flowers! I have never gotten a cactus to flower.

Thanks Barb

It just has that "death" feeling to it...I could see it in my mind while I was in Arizona,
I knew it was in trouble, what could I do?....it was fun watching it grow,I think 6' this year easy...if only.

If I would have known the cactus would flourish the way they have,I would have made the whole
center section cactus with more cold hardy Yucca and Opuntia to the outside & more tender stuff under the dome.
The flowers are a great bonus and to some extent the show is bigger every year....this year a couple seem to be resting
while some that have rarely bloomed are set for their best show ever-cactus are fun!

W and I saw cacti blooming in south Texas in March.
My best plan? Move there!

I'll keep hoping for Sequoia. Here on the Oregon coast, I'm seeing some plants I thought dead coming back to life in the past week.

Those buds are about 2 months old...

My Cereus P monstrose had 2 blooms as well but they
did not survive,it has one more coming now so,hopefully I
will get to see this bloom-may be the last time for a while
because of its size but it is off a mature branch..we'll see.

It'll be neat to see what, if anything, develops from cross pollination between these from AZ and your others.

Hate that about your sequoia. Everything else looks really good, loving the cactus flowers. My tricho really showed off this yr too, currently on its second round of flowers.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
