Yucca I.D. please

Post by seedscanada » Sat Aug 03, 2013 2:43 am

I grew this from seed three years ago. I planted it last spring thinking it was Yucca glauca. It looks much hairier , sharp, stiff, compact and upright than my other glaucas. Is it an elata? Also sustained some winter damage to newest leaves at 13'f, nothing too substantial, where the other glaucas were untouched...

I may have mixed up the pot labels!

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

great guess.........I would have guessed an elata too based on that photo. You'll know for sure when it blooms! 8)
