Last Friday spent the money (equivalent to 400 USD) for some bamboo plants:

Those are going to do really well Igor.... My Rufa got a bit toasted. The culms look alive, so I hope it will leaf back out. Should be shooting in the next week or 2 as well!

Also, Dont be surprised if they shoot like mad once you get them in the ground. My Scabrida I had put up over 20 shoots, from June planting, all the way to the october chill.... (I killed it, bad protection and it isnt as hardy as the internet says, but should be ok if you protect it like your Acuba!

Great plants, Igor! I'm also growing P. japonica, F. murielae, and P. distichus var. pygmaeus. So far, the Pseudosasa has been hardier than I thought it would be.

The A. gigantea fared pretty well for its first winter. It was protected with some hay, but the top of the plant was still exposed to temps of -20 C. There are some burnt leaves, but there are also some green ones.
