Hi Horst, nice to have you join PN.

That's a nice looking yucca...considering it went through the coldest winter in 50 years.
Fortunately you had lots of snow.

Look forward to seeing your other specimens.
Any palms?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Hi all,

thank you for the warm welcome. I live in a small town between Dortmund and Essen. It is not the coldest area in Germany but we have very less sun here, 1350 hours a year.
This is a hybrid that is created in Denmark: Yucca karlsruhensis (glauca x filamentosa) x elata

That is very pretty, Horst.

Are the leaves almost as narrow as a rostrata?

Hi Horst,

oh yes, Mr. 'bische'. What a beauty of a Yucca. Someone from Germany send me some photos of the big one.....perhaps it was you or Jost. My baby 'bische' survived another winter with a container over it.

This is one of the best Yuccas out there!!!!!!!

Hi Marceli,

very difficult, I see some filaments and a short stem. This yucca is too small for a ID, may be a small Y. filamentosa?

Hi Tim,

this branch was the part of the Y. 'Bische' Jost takes home.

Yep, nobody know what it is :? It has narrow leaves, and forming trunk very quickly. It's been second winter in the ground. Bought it as Y. glauca.

Hi Horst,

Jost has a great branch of 'Bische'. I hope my little 'Bische' grows a lot this summer.
