I think so, -5ºF = -20.556ºC according to online temperature converter. He mentions -5F in the videos, at the beginning of the first one and again later on in the other videos.
Is the math wrong, or are you surprised that palms can live through a temperature that low?

I'm not sure if these same palms could live through the same temperatures in a snowy climate,
but where he's at it seems like it was a very dry cold.

Yes! Place in like El Paso TX, and Tombstone AZ seen temps as cold as -5F in Feb 2011. :shock:
