Very nice! What does blue yucca grow there?

The yucca is a Filamentosa 'Corbetts Blue' hardy to zone 4.

Paul,

Nice Rhodo, gorgeous Foxtail, Magnolia, Queen, Med Fan and Yucca.
Have never seen my nursery stock a Corbett's Blue yucca...wish they did.

Good spot for the bamboo on that brick wall.
Presume you protect the two Trachies?

Hope you found a good spot for your Japanese maple.

Thanks Barb,

The Trachies are protected in enclosure with c9 Xmas lights on a thermo cube, very happy in there. What you may have thought was a med fan palm is a needle palm. I cover it in a leaf enclosure, no heat. The bissetti bamboo is on a south facing wall, I bend it down and cover it with frost cloth and a tarp. I think the yucca was a one off at my local nursery, have never seen another Corbetts blue there. I put the cut leaf Japanese maple in my front garden with frost cloth around it. I lost one of my three foxtails this winter due to rot, arghhhh... To much watering....... My two remaining fox tails are 8 feet tall, and will outgrow my ceilings be next winter, Sad because they are my favorite tropical palms.

I Will be putting in a washingtonia and a canary island date palm in this spring, pics to follow.

Cheers,
Rob

oops, Rob, sorry about the "Paul"...(my brain fart)

That gorgeous blue fan in the garage is a NEEDLE palm?
I'll eat my slippers if it is...
It's sooooooo beautiful, an adjective I've never applied to any Needle, for obvious reasons

Glad your 2 Foxtails are still doing well.
Yeah, what do we do with 'em when they scrape the ceilings.

The new Washy and CIDP will round out your collection nicely.
I'm guessing the Bamboo will be relocated to make space for Washy and its winter protection.

No problem Barb,

The one in the garage is a waggie, I thought you were referring to the one at the far left of the backyard pic against the wall.

The washy and date palm will be going into my front garden which is a south west orientation. Bamboo will stay on south wall along with the needle and hardy figs.

Yes, that's the one I meant...
Have never seen such a blue Waggie...it's stunning!

...so I only have to eat one of my slippers.
