Heavy snow

Post by Henoh_Croatia »

Pic's taken this morning. It's over 20 inches (cca 60 cm) of snow now. Snowfall will continue until Saturday.

Lots of insulation there!
Not as cold as last year, hopefully.

Always love palms in snow photos :D

Strangely enough I was looking at that Dracula Weather website that Barb introduced :D and noted that parts of Croatia had 7 inches of precipitation in a 24 hour period which in your case Henoh fell as Snow. I hope your palms don't get too cold.

If it didnt get too cold before it snowed, the ground (And roots in it) should be protected from the cold, and anything underneath.

Now is around 30 F. Freezing temperatures and snow expected over the next few days. For weekend forecasters say temperatures may fall down to 0 F in town, and possibly below 0 F in the countryside.
