More pictures -- cooler day today!

Post by wxman »

Thought I would take some pictures today. It was relatively cool around 80 degrees with a dewpoint in the lower 50s -- real pleasant after a summer of mostly upper 80s and 90s with lots of humidity.

This is what you see as you walk up to my house from the sidewalk. I love this angle.

The two trachys.

Little waggie.

Image

Musa orinoco and an ensete maurelii.

Image

Yucca filamentosa 'color guard' and magnolia grandiflora '24 below'.

Image

Musa orinoco and musa basjoo.

Image

Ensete maurelii and musa thai black.

Image

Another angle of the two.

Other corner of my yard.

Image

Cactus bed with croton and Christmas palm in the background.

Image

Amorphophallus konjac is growing like mad. Should be fully leafed out soon.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Tim! I'm putting a box over the magnolia this winter. Taking no chances!

If you can get the Mag to survive the first winter with little damage you 'should' be all set. Keep us updated.
