Wow, Aaron, is that ever a nice blue.
That flower stalk looks like it could withstand strong winds.
I've got some of those orange/yellow flowers, but can't remember the name.
Yours are soooo nice; mine never get that full, just a spindly few flowers here and there.

The flowers are gaillardia or "blanket flowers" they grow bushy in dry alkaline soil.

nice Y. pallida bloom. All my Y. pallidas are slowly dieing........pH issues?? I think I need to spread some lime around my southwest plants since our pH of 5 may be too acidic??

I always forget the name of stuff over the winter
Whoa, Tim, pH 5 has gotta be way too acidic then.
Maybe test a survivor by scratching lime into the root zone?
With your yucca growing acumen, the problem must be the pH.
