Great plants you have there :D Have you any more germinated T. takil from Alexander seeds? I don't have any yet from 30 seeds. Maybe they didn't ripen properly?

I really dig the manfreda, never seen one blooming. Am I correct in noticing that the male parts mature first, then wither when the female parts come out?

Just one has sprouted in 7 weeks -I think the ones I have are from Hebert
but I believe they are all from the same general area.

great stuff Jim. The Sequoiadendron looks great. Is that tall cactus a Oreocereus celsianus?

That Waggie is opening up fast.
Glad you got the rain. Can't complain here--parts of OK, and most of Texas, are dry but we're getting rain. Above average temps but nothing like this time last year -- that was hell

Anyway, keep you updates coming. This is bound to be your best year ever.

Hey Jim, hey ya goin? The plants are doing fine as I can see from the pics above. I'm back from Australia and Asia and suffered in xtreme tropical heat for almost a half year :P Many precious plants died back home, my brother didn't put too much effort in keeping them alive, but almost all the bananas survived and are waiting for some hot weather. Oh well I lost plants worth 500 buxx maybe.. :S And now its raining, problaby a rainy week ahead :S

I know what you mean-you kinda just can't leave your plants....

I used to go to Phoenix for the winter but know I am afraid to leave my plants-LOL!

my brother didn't put too much effort in keeping them alive,
Seem to recall Bill having the same kind of problem with one of his uncles.
He's probably now buried in the back yard

Welcome back, Corrosion!
The only good thing about dead plants is you can buy more.
