Great pics Jim. I`m thinking of planting one of my Ensete Maurelli. How much of a rootball do you dig up with it in the fall? Does it get repotted it or does it go into cold storage roots exposed? Thanks.

Great pics, Jim! You must have had quite a mild winter for that above-ground portion of the Cordyline to survive!

We got 2 inches of rain in 2 days... Glad we shared with you guys, you apparently needed it. Keep that bamboo well watered and youll be amazed at how much it grows...

Thanks/

John

No comparison in growth with those in pots/ground.

They are so easy to dig up it will almost make you sick and I recommend staking these
as I learned from Bill's( that was caught by the wind/someone untied it....)they just don't
put down very strong roots and would easily blow down in 40+mph winds.

I really love these flowers!

Thats why I put the rain cover back up-we had
over an inch of rain the other night and these flowers
will rot in a day if they stay wet-otherwise you get several(at least) days of beauty!
