Congrats Bryce, sabals aren't known as easy to do.

Nice fresh seed obviously.
Well done.

I just repotted my sabal minor seedlings yesterday so far they seem to be doing pretty well, they needed some room to stretch.

That's always fun. Sunday I potted up a batch of Sabal "Birmingham" that needed bigger cups (now in 20 oz. styrofoam).

Sabals have massive taproots. My seedlings slowed a lot in shallow pots. Theyre going to be re potted in 2 liter pop bottles, or something larger.

Grats on the germination!

Yeah I just planted them in 3 different community pots. They are still kinda small, some of them were so bound together I couldn't get them apart. The container they were in was so shallow and small there tap roots were like al curly and wrapped around each other.

Good work on the germination Bryce.

That's the tricky part, minimizing root damage at up-potting.
They generally stall for a while as a result.
But then bounce back like crazy.
