Here is me with my favourite species of palm: the Jubaea.
I have several Chilean wine palms in my garden, but I will never see them growing to such size, as this specimen is about 100 years old.
You can find it in the park of Nervi (Genoa, Italy).

Amazing!
The biggest palms I know first-hand are Attelea cohune, which are big but nothing like that.
Who else here grows Jubaea? I have had one, in a pot, and it diminished and died after a few years. I haven't tried again.

I think those look so cool, very prehistoric. I think them and some big filiferas would look good together.

Agree with Aaron, there's something prehistoric-looking about them (maybe the fat trunk?), but I can't put my finger on it.
We have a PN member named Jubaea who--naturally--agrees with you.

I like the grey massive trunk...some folks call it elephant (trunk) grey.

I've never tried a Jubaea, Seba, but will get some seeds if I see them available in early Fall.
Have we seen pics of your specimens?
