I cut my musas back last night at about 5:00 pm...When I went outside today they had already pushed out about 1' of growth in 15 hours...Amazing!!!!! I gotta get them covered before frost or first freeze comes in a few weeks week or so....!

Mike,
I know...I know...trust a woman to ask: that's a foot?

If your first freeze is expected in a couple of weeks, it'll grow 3 feet in that time.
That thing's on super-juice!

LMAO!
Yeah, I see 12" there.

Seriously, I am challenged in the Musa department. Please let know: why to you cut them? Mine have dead leaves but I leave the healthy stems alone on the assumption that nutrients get taken down to the roots. Should I cut them? What does that do for them? --Erik
