Hey everyone.

Just got back from a visit to Eastern Washington and stopped to take some pics of the yucca elata in Oriville, WA. The yuccas are looking great. :D Here are some pics.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Jay if I remember correctly those "now famous" Y. elata were planted in the early 1960`s. They have been through some very extreme cold winters! The winters we have now must be a walk in the park for them. I drive down to Washington quite often ,where are they located in Oroville? These people must think they are celebrities by now LOL

Aaron, I didn't notice any but i didn't get too close to it this time. :(

John, Those were planted from seed in the 60's. They have to have seen some pretty cold temps. Makes me want to get some real bad now. :D I wonder how many people stop to take pics. They are located off hwy 97. I forget the name of the rd but you can see them when you just leave Oriville heading south. They will be on the left hand side. You can't miss them from the hwy as you can see in the pic how big they are. They are only about 50 feet from the hwy.

Regards,
Jay
