Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Sorry.
Lows in the 40s last two days here.
That system you have is heading to Jim and I.
We won't get snow, though.

That's annoying Aaron! Most of the country has been pretty cool I think
this week. Tenn. had frost the other day that I know of. The warm will
be here soon enough! I can't wait.

We don't live together
maybe you should...share the plant duties!

We've been cool again for about 10 days.
Yesterday a major interior highway pass was closed in both directions (near Kamloops) because of snow.

Aaron, we had a few inches of snow this time last year.
But at least you're smart, you don't have Bird of paradise and Hyacinth Beans out (as I do). :?

I think of Iowa and Oklahoma as both being "middle of the continent" and not-that far apart. We get the same weather systems, give-or-take a few hours.
Jim, there are 5 acres for sale for US$98,000 down the road. Just think of what you could grow!
Barb, a Facebook friend (former student) who lives in Montana posted photos of her Jeep snowed in. Wow!
Our Hyacinth beans are sprouting from seeds that overwintered with no attention. We'll move them about as needed.
Bird of paradise? Outside! However, my over-cautious W put her new potted Traveler's palm outside today, next to her new potted Royal palm.
We're about to go drink wine by the pool. Threw that in to make y'all jealous....

Sorry!
Tulsa hit 91oF yesterday.
Your cold front is hitting us now. Our daily high was hit this morning; temps are dropping fast.
Should hit the low 40soF by tomorrow morning!

That can't be our cold front hitting you...our bloody system hasn't moved in 10 days

Tonight should be the last night of frost.
Until the next time.

I'm sick of moving plants back indoors only to move them out when the sun shines for a few hours....aaaaaargh!

...and we've got severe water restrictions.

$98,000 for 5 acres, Erik?
It's tempting!

I'm debating bringing my wife's new traveller's palm in for the night, but other than that I think we're good here.
Barb, come on down!
Land is cheap and water is unlimited here. Golf is popular (threw that in to lure H; I'm a mile from the little http://www.americangolf.com/ok/bixby-wh ... -golf-club). --Erik

Erik, tempting, especially the water is unlimited statement.

Our bureaucrats decided to "temporary rescind the Stage 3 water restrictions".
Seems someone reminded 'em that water was spilling (and being wasted) from the lower reservoir.
So they decided to let us use it 'coz supply is miraculously sufficient since that revelation.

They had no problem many years ago taking our cheque for 55 gpm.
Yet now they can't supply it.
I suppose my allocation "rebate" offer is in the mail.
