Warm or cold. Sun spot cycle the reason? Global cooling and warming.We are on the upswing.

Thanks for posting that John.
The last I had read said that there were signs activity is increasing.
It looks like from this, that it will happen faster than originally anticipated.
Good news as far as I'm concerned but I will miss the cooler summers - I saved $200 a month on air co bills!

This may explain why El Nino is having the effect it is already because some of the info I read said that El nino would not offset low sunspot activity.
However,it looks like it is having an effect-after the coolest July in history and one of the coolest Oct(for example;our avg high here drops 31(F)from Oct 1 to Dec 1)our mean temp in Oct was 49(F)
-7 below avg.Our mean temp in Nov was 47(F) +7!
This Nov is the first month in 2 years we have recorded above avg temps for the month,yeeeeaaaaaaa!
I would certainly look forward to not having to heat all my palms,cactus etc as much as I have had to the last 2 winters,even if that means putting up with more summer heat.
The Bananas,Washys,Sabals and cactus will be much happier :)
