Foxtail seeds arrived from CFPACS

Post by lucky1 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 6:13 pm

50 foxtail seeds arrived in 10 days from Florida.
I hope the 26 bucks postage was worth it :?

Big seeds, so I put them in a couple of old pillowcases, tied a knot, and into a hot water bath in the washing machine, which helped clean the seeds.

After their bath, rubbed the papery coating off:

A rinse, and then into clean warm water for 2-3 days, while I look for containers!

NOTE: Don't use your wife's good pillowcases!

And hopefully one day, this will be the result!
