You're right Paul, and the damned thing is, it looks way better "in the flesh". It's formed a couple of trunks to about nearly a foot. The photo only shows the flowering portion of which it's the first time doing so. Must've been the great summer we had.

Cheers, Barrie.

Wow! Nice Yucca Barrie!
I know what you mean about plants looking better in the "flesh"
I am wondering, does Gloriosa continue growing after it flowers?

They do, and are quite likely to branch out sending two or more new shoots.

Jim ... It's somewhere in the 3 foot tall range and has produced a number of offsets, some of which I've removed. You can expect similar results in 5 or 6 years. Great start there BTW !

Mine tried to flower in the winter and killed the main plant, but more came up from the roots. :D

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Aaron ... somewhere about 3' tall roughly.

Here's an overview of the whole plant (at dusk).

I used a flash on this one to properly show the trunks (about 12")
