Yucca Flower and seeds

Post by Kansas » Thu Apr 30, 2009 7:59 am

OK, here is an updated pic (4/30/09) of the flower on my Faxy (I think it's a Faxonia).
My question is, are the seeds in those pouches and will they be good seeds or do they need to be pollinated to be good?

You need to pollinate them. Take the little yellow parts (the stamen) and shove them into the part that looks like a seed pod (the sigmas) with a sterile toothpick. :D

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
