triangle palm

Post by dogseadepression » Mon Mar 02, 2009 1:58 pm

I just bought me a triangle palm and it is 3', I am hoping it will grow big and live for a long time. I got this palm from lowes , they had 12 of these palms for sale in a 2 quart container. for $8, that is pretty cheap for this type palm , these palms are usually quite expesive about $16 to $20 for a palm tree.

Hey wyatt sounds like you got a great deal. Give us an idea of where you are and what you grow. It is a good idea to put your location and your growing zone in your tag or in your signature so everyone knows where you coming from.

Triangles (and Spindles) are among my fav palms.

Just a caution when you're putting them outside this spring, my 3 Triangles had burned leaves from the sun.
The Spindle seemed a little more immune to sunscald. I'd start them off with just a bit of morning sun.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures Wyatt.
